**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Loan Origination & Application**:
- Review and assess client financial profiles, including credit scores, income, and assets, to determine loan eligibility.
- **Loan Processing & Underwriting**:
- Manage the loan processing workflow, ensuring that all required documents are submitted and reviewed in a timely manner.
- Work with appraisers, title companies, and insurance providers to ensure the loan file is complete and compliant with legal and financial regulations.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the loan process, providing updates and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a seamless loan experience and encourage long-term partnerships.
- Offer professional guidance to clients, explaining loan terms, processes, and documentation requirements.
- **Loan Closing & Disbursement**:
- Coordinate loan closing procedures, ensuring all parties (clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders) are aligned and the necessary documents are signed.
- Oversee the timely disbursement of funds and ensure all post-closing requirements are met.
- Ensure that the loan is properly registered and recorded with the appropriate authorities.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:
- Ensure that all loan activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including financial disclosure requirements.
- Ensure all required disclosures and documents are provided to clients and filed correctly for future reference.
- **Problem Resolution & Risk Management**:
- Address any issues or delays that arise during the loan process, proactively finding solutions to maintain smooth operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to loan transactions, providing strategic recommendations to management.
- **Reporting & Performance Monitoring**:
- Monitor loan performance and identify trends or challenges that may impact the company’s financial operations or risk profile.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in real estate finance, mortgage lending, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing loan processes from start to finish.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of real estate finance, mortgage lending, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing client relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Professional certifications (e.g., Mortgage Loan Originator license, CFA, etc.) are a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest market trends and real estate financing products.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
