**Main Responsibilities**:
The consultant will be responsible for the analysis and optimization of the IT landscape as well as the design of an improved PLM infrastructure.
- Inventory of existing IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, security).
- Analysis of the current PLM system architecture.
- Survey of the complete system landscape.
- Documentation of system topologies and dependencies.
- Evaluation of performance and security measures.
- Identification of weaknesses and bottlenecks in the system.
- Define an optimized PLM infrastructure and components.
- Establish migration strategies and transition phases.
- Create decision templates for management.

**Key Requirements**:

- Solid knowledge of servers and networks: Windows/Linux, DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancing.
- Experience in virtualization & cloud technologies: VMware, Azure/AWS, hybrid PLM architectures.
- In-depth PLM system knowledge: Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Database management: Oracle, MS SQL - backup, performance, high availability.
- System integration capabilities for ERP, CAD, DMS connections, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Expertise in access management & SSO: LDAP, Active Directory, SAML.
- Operational skills including release, patch & change management.
- Collaborative teamwork with departments & partners.
- Strong documentation and project collaboration skills.
- Proficient in German and English with excellent communication abilities.

**Nice to Have**:

- Familiarity with ITIL and agile methodologies.
- Previous experience managing PLM projects in international settings.
