**Responsibilities**:

- **Assist in Vendor Management**:

- Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and vendors.
- Support the vendor evaluation process by collecting and analyzing supplier information.
- Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and communications.

**Sourcing Activities**:

- Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs) and bid documentation.
- Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.

**Purchase Order Processing**:

- Support the creation and processing of purchase orders.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate order specifications.
- Track and monitor order deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Compile and analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
- Compliance and Documentation:

- Assist in ensuring procurement activities comply with relevant policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in food product development and a passion for the food industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
