**Position Overview**:
**Roles & Responsibilities**

1. Lead internal project material and logistic cost review and approval

2. Work with procurement team to ensure timely release of Purchase Orders to maintain project schedules

3. Track open purchase orders for assigned projects, identifying schedule risks, and implementing mitigations with Category Leadership as required

4. Ensures material and logistics spend versus budget and invoice compliance for approved project costs

5. Lead collection of percentage of completion data from supply base and reconcile monthly

6. Work with logistics (3PL) to direct material delivery to warehouses, project sites, or other locations

7. Monitor supplier ship dates & each stage of the shipment cycle to ensure on time delivery of material to project site

8. Manage change revisions of the project BOM and evaluate/roll-out impact to materials order

9. Manage suppliers proactively on top categories to ensure delivery schedules will be met

10. Support closure of exceptions between suppliers, FTC internally, & customers

11. Develop and maintain reporting for supply chain planning to drive overall efficiency and responsiveness

13. Other duties as assigned

Educational Qualification & Experience

1. BE degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration, Master’s is a bonus

2. 10+ years of work experience in sourcing, supply chain, planning or operations

3. Solar, Semiconductor or Steel industry experience preferred.

4. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software

5. Understanding of Solar market dynamics and sound business judgement

6. Strong project management and leadership skills

7. Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships

8. Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data

9. Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions

10. Ability to work in fast pace start-up environment

11. Familiar with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and QMS and EMS process, such as SWOT analysis.

**Working Conditions**

1. Work location is Chennai, India

2. Travel to FTC offices and suppliers on need basis
