As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to identify test cases, automate them, and help in troubleshooting issues.

**Responsibilities of Automation Tester**:

- **Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts**: Create and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- **Test Planning**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test plans and strategies.
- **Execute Tests**: Run automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects. Work with the development team to resolve issues.
- **Continuous Integration**: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- **Test Case Review**: Review manual test cases and convert them into automated scripts. Enhance existing test suites to improve coverage and reliability.
- **Documentation**: Document test results, log defects, and provide clear and concise reporting.
- **Performance and Load Testing**: Conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize the system.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the QA, Development, and Product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
- **Automation Tools**: Proficiency in using automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or similar.
- **Programming Languages**: Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- **CI/CD**: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo.
- **Version Control**: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- **Testing Frameworks**: Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- **Bug Tracking**: Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
