**Job Summary**:A MIG Welder, also known as a Metal Inert Gas Welder, is responsible for welding metal components using a MIG welding process. This role involves interpreting blueprints, selecting the appropriate materials, and operating welding equipment to create high-quality welded joints.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reading Blueprints**: Interpret and understand technical drawings and blueprints to determine the welding specifications and requirements.

**Material Preparation**: Select the appropriate materials and welding equipment based on the project's specifications, including the type and thickness of metal.

**Setting Up Equipment**: Set up and calibrate MIG welding equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition.

**Welding**: Perform MIG welding to join metal components, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to welding codes and standards.

**Safety**: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

**Quality Control**: Inspect welded joints for defects, making adjustments or repairs as necessary to meet quality standards.

**Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to keep it in proper working order.

**Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, such as fabricators and supervisors, to ensure the smooth progress of projects.

**Problem Solving**: Troubleshoot and address welding issues or defects that may arise during the welding process.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in MIG welding or relevant vocational training is often preferred.
- Proven experience as a MIG welder.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Physical dexterity and stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
