Job Title: MIG Welder

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder to join our team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for operating MIG welding equipment to assemble and fabricate metal parts, components, or structures according to blueprints, layouts, or work orders.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the parts to be welded.

2. Set up welding machines based on the job requirements, including selecting appropriate welding electrodes, gas mixture, and adjusting voltage and wire speed settings.

3. Clean and prepare workpieces using methods such as grinding, sandblasting, or chemical treatment to remove contaminants or irregularities.

4. Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, ensuring proper alignment and fusion of the materials.

5. Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating, warping, or other defects, and make adjustments as necessary.

6. Inspect welded joints and workpieces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

7. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety.

8. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

9. Collaborate with other team members, such as supervisors, engineers, or quality control inspectors, to ensure efficient production and quality outcomes.

10. Keep accurate records of production activities, including materials used, time spent, and completed work orders.

**Requirements**:
1. Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.

2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.

3. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.

4. Ability to operate MIG welding equipment safely and effectively.

5. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

6. Physical stamina and strength to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

7. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

8. Welding certification (e.g., AWS certification) is a plus.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in welding is preferred.
