Product Owner- Mobility

As Product Owner you will be responsible for some features of the PPaaS solution. to define, prioritize and drive the product development backlog.

As a Product Owner, you will work in conjunction with the Product Manager to understand the needs of the customer at a granular level; defining, documenting and communicating the requirements into a backlog of work. You'll also work closely with the development team, negotiating requirements content and timing on advanced projects.

Through a high-level overview of the business and its objectives, you will support adjacent teams to agree on the product roadmap, prioritising activities and scoping work to help strategically achieve all project goals. You will also be required to support Agile practices and fulfil the obligations of a SAFe Product Owner.

You will specifically be responsible for the client side features of PPaaS running on the endpoint.

**Key responsibilities**

She/He:

- Provide vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
- Participate to the definition of the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Keep abreast with Agile best practices and new trends
- Synchronize and develop trusted relationships with other Product Owners and program stakeholders to ensure successful and on-time program increment delivery.

**Competency/Skill Requirements**:
She/He has:

- Experience in agile development projects, with demonstrable experience of defining product stories, leading agile ceremonies and interacting with all product stakeholders (including clients)
- Experience of mobile product development (Android and/or iOS) with in depth understanding of mobile technical constraints and UI/UX requirements.
- Skills on C/C++ languages
- Demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, experience in writing technical and functional requirements
- Solid understanding and exposure to B2B large/complex relationships
- Strong leadership experience in negotiation and consensus building skills
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Self-starter able to set and manage priorities and work with a high degree of autonomy
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral) in English are required

**Basic Qualifications / Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience with mobile product development teams, including managing development projects, and gathering requirements from the client / business
- 3+ years of experience working with agile development practices including large scale agile organisations with multiple teams
- Experience in working in a matrix management environment

**Preferred Qualifications / Experience Requirements**:

- Solid knowledge of the payments industry
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner at Mobile or Sofware-as-a-Service (Saas) companies
- Previous experience in Scrum Master / Product Owner roles at Mobile or Software-as-a-Service (Saas) companies
- Experience working with API products
- Experience in Cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) environments is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in English
