
IT Administrator/ Hardware Support

The IT Administrator is responsible for overseeing the organization's technological infrastructure. Their primary duties include:
**System Maintenance and Troubleshooting**: Managing and maintaining computer systems, networks, servers, and other IT infrastructure. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues as they arise.
**Security Management**: Implementing and maintaining security protocols to safeguard the organization's systems and data. This includes managing firewalls, antivirus software, and conducting regular security audits.
**User Support**: Providing technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Assisting with setting up and configuring workstations and devices.
**Backup and Recovery**: Establishing and managing backup systems to ensure data integrity. Implementing recovery procedures in case of system failure or data loss.
**Software and License Management**: Managing software licenses, installations, updates, and upgrades. Ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and overseeing software inventory.
**Documentation and Reporting**: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, manuals, and reports. Keeping records of system configurations, changes, and upgrades.
**Network Administration**: Managing network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN. Configuring and maintaining network devices and ensuring connectivity.
**Technology Evaluation and Recommendations**: Researching and evaluating new technologies, tools, and software. Making recommendations for improvements or upgrades based on industry best practices.
**Collaboration and Coordination**: Working with other departments or external vendors for IT-related projects. Collaborating with teams to understand their technological needs and providing appropriate solutions.
**Policy Development**: Assisting in developing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security and efficiency.
This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders within the organization. Additionally, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT is essential for this position.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
