**JOB DESCRIPTION** Asset and Wealth Management
- Securities Based Lending Analyst (US WM)**

The Securities Based Lending Team (SBL) is part of JP Morgan’s Asset and Wealth Management’s Credit Middle Office. The primary focus is on supporting the client need for lines of credit based on the quality and diversification of their asset portfolio. The group combines a focus on credit worthiness along with evaluation of collateral holdings as part of the underwriting process.

The SBL lead primary objective is to manage process, stakeholders, meet teams goals and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks. Ensure effective controls are in place all the times. Core responsibilities include:

- Supervising business operations
- Maintains staff by orienting, guiding and training employees
- Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and presenting outcomes
- Fair idea of Credit and credit risk functions
- Having transformational mindset and keep thinking of improving efficiency
- Driving change and clearly communicate the change and its impact
- Motivated to drive firms goals and adhere to agreed timelines
- Review and understand process to ensure all risks are covered all the time.

**Required qualification, skills and capabilities**:

- Strong interpersonal skill, especially with business partners.
- Excellent communication skills with various levels within the organization.
- Ability to review processes and recommend process improvements.
- Strong understanding of controls and their importance to an error free environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; particularly Excel, Word and SharePoint.
- Adobe Acrobat / PDF editor skill set preferred.
- Bachelor degree required. A concentration in Finance, Economics or a related field preferred.
