Job Description: Field Sales Representative in the PVC Pipes and Fastener Industry

Position Title: Field Sales Representative Industry: PVC Pipes and Fasteners

Job Overview: As a Field Sales Representative in the PVC Pipes and Fasteners industry, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell the company's range of PVC pipes and fastener products to potential clients within a designated geographic territory. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:Identify potential clients through market research, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Maintain a comprehensive database of potential leads and follow up on them regularly.

Consultative Selling:Understand the customer's requirements and offer appropriate products and solutions.
Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to educate customers on the benefits of PVC pipes and fasteners.

Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Product Presentation and Demonstrations:Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients to showcase the features and benefits of PVC pipes and fasteners.

Sales Quotas and Targets:Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas within the defined territory.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities.

Market Intelligence:Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Provide feedback to the company about customer needs and market developments.

Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
Prepare regular reports for management to track progress and performance.

Collaborative Approach:Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, production, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction materials industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Technical knowledge of PVC pipes and fasteners is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
