**Job Title**: Test Automation Engineer (Katalon)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using **Katalon Studio** for both web and API testing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate test automation into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Execute automated tests and provide detailed analysis of results, logging defects, and working with the team to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Agile teams in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Review requirements, design specifications, and functional documentation to ensure testability.
- Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions.
- Contribute to the improvement of test automation practices and tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations on how to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in test automation and AI-based automation features in Katalon.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong hands-on experience with **Katalon Studio** for test automation.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining **test scripts for web and API testing**.
- Solid experience in **Agile environments** and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills** with the ability to think critically about testing scenarios.
- In-depth understanding of the **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)**.
- Familiarity with **Agile methodologies** and experience working in Agile projects.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

**Desirable Skills (Added Advantage)**:

- Knowledge of **AI-based automation features in Katalon**.
- Experience with **CI/CD tools** and integration of automation within these pipelines.
- Understanding of **test automation best practices** and patterns.
