Civil Site Supervisor

**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise construction activities: Monitor and supervise the day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Team coordination: Coordinate with construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow, resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise, and maintain a positive working environment.
- Quality control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets quality standards and specifications. Address any deficiencies and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Project documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including daily work reports, progress reports, material usage, and other relevant records. Prepare and submit reports to the project manager as required.
- Safety compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures on the construction site to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety meetings, identify potential hazards, and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Material management: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of construction materials and equipment required for the project. Monitor material usage and manage inventory levels efficiently.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Budget monitoring: Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures, including labour costs, material costs, and equipment rentals. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to different project sites within Bihar as required.
- Adherence to regulations: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and building codes, including environmental regulations and permits.

**Requirements**:

- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry, preferably in civil projects.
- Educational background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge: Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques. Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Leadership skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively supervise and motivate construction teams, subcontractors, and workers.
- Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure quality control and accurate documentation.
- Relocation readiness: Must be willing to relocate to different project sites within Bihar as required.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license: Must possess a two-wheeler for site commuting purposes and hold a valid driving license.
