Key responsibilities

- **Maintenance**: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- **Troubleshooting and Repair**: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV equipment and related hardware.
- **Site Surveys**: Assess client security needs to design and plan effective installations.
- **System Management**: Configure network settings and manage video data storage solutions.
- **Documentation**: Accurately document installation processes, system configurations, and maintenance activities.
- **Training**: Provide technical support and training to end-users on how to operate the systems.

Required qualifications and skills
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong understanding of video surveillance systems, including different camera types (e.g., bullet, dome, PTZ), DVRs/NVRs, and networking.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent ability to troubleshoot and find effective solutions to technical problems.
- **Physical Ability**: Must be able to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods and work in various environments.
- **Communication**: Strong written and verbal communication skills and good customer service abilities.
- **Other Skills**: Knowledge of electrical wiring, ability to read technical manuals and blueprints, and good time management.
