**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Evaluate and diagnose cancer patients through clinical assessments, medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hormone therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and radiation therapists, to develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in tumour board meetings and case discussions to ensure coordinated and evidence-based care.
- Consult with other specialists as needed to address complex patient cases.
- Educate patients and their families about cancer diagnosis, treatment options, potential side effects, and prognosis.
- Participate in and contribute to clinical research studies and trials to advance cancer treatment and care.
- Continuously evaluate and improve clinical practices and patient care standards within the oncology department.
- Participate in departmental meetings, including quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Medical Oncology.
- **Experience**:

- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology.
- Clinical experience in oncology, with a demonstrated ability to manage a broad range of cancer types and treatments.
- **Licensure and Certification**:

- Current medical license in [State].
- Board certification in Medical Oncology preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a deep understanding of cancer biology and treatment options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Ability to manage complex cases and provide compassionate care.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare management systems.
