**Job Title**: Crane Operator - CRGO Steel Industry

**Location**: Vadodara

**Job Summary**:
The Crane Operator is responsible for the safe handling, movement, and loading/unloading of CRGO steel coils, sheets, and components using overhead cranes or EOT cranes. The operator must follow strict safety and material handling protocols to ensure the integrity of CRGO material used in transformer core manufacturing.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Crane Operation**:

- Operate EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes to lift, move, and place CRGO coils and sheets safely.
- Handle sensitive materials with care to avoid damage to insulation coating and edges.
- Follow standard operating procedures for loading/unloading of trucks, machines, and storage areas.

**2. Safety Compliance**:

- Perform pre-operational checks on crane equipment for safety and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety guidelines, including use of PPE and safe rigging practices.
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions, crane malfunctions, or near-miss incidents.

**3. Material Handling & Identification**:

- Move material as per instructions from the production, stores, or quality departments.
- Ensure correct tagging and stacking of materials in designated storage areas.
- Avoid mixing of different grades or thicknesses of CRGO steel.

**4. Documentation & Coordination**:

- Maintain logbook for crane operations, including daily checklists.
- Coordinate with floor supervisors, quality inspectors, and storekeepers for material movement.
- Support in tracking material flow from stores to processing and final dispatch.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Hands-on experience operating EOT cranes (preferably in steel or heavy engineering industry).
- Basic understanding of CRGO material sensitivity and handling requirements.
- Knowledge of standard lifting tools (C-hooks, magnets, slings, belts).
- Ability to work under supervision and follow safety instructions strictly.
- Teamwork and attention to detail.

**Educational Qualification**:

- Minimum 10th Pass (preferred).
- ITI or technical training in crane operation (advantageous).

**Experience**:

- 0 to 1 years of experience operating cranes in a steel processing, transformer, or manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
