A Testing Engineer in a control panel environment designs and executes tests on industrial control panels to ensure their quality, safety, and functionality, involving electrical testing, interpreting schematics, fault diagnosis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards like 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391 certifications. Key responsibilities include planning and performing tests (continuity, functional, insulation), troubleshooting errors, documenting findings in test reports, collaborating with design and installation teams, and ensuring the entire process meets client specifications and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- **Test Planning & Design**: Create test plans, design test cases, and develop test procedures for control panels, ensuring they cover all required functionalities.
- **Test Execution**: Perform routine and final testing, including continuity, insulation, and functional tests, on control panels and associated components.
- **Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting**: Identify and diagnose faults within the control panel systems, providing solutions for improvements.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Document detailed procedures, record test results, and prepare comprehensive reports for management, outlining findings and recommendations.
- **Compliance & Standards**: Ensure all testing and procedures adhere to company, client, and industry standards, including specific certifications like City & Guilds 2391.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with design, installation, and quality management teams to ensure seamless project delivery and product quality.
- **Site Work**: Attend sites to perform modifications and testing on existing or new control panels as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- **Technical Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of industrial control panels, including MCCs, 3-phase systems, and PLC systems.
- **Electrical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- **Testing & Inspection**: Experience and qualifications such as City & Guilds 2391 and familiarity with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations are essential.
- **Attention to Detail**: A meticulous approach to work to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and accurate documentation.
- **Troubleshooting**: Proven ability to identify and resolve issues in complex electrical systems.
- **Communication**: Ability to effectively communicate test results and feedback to development, management, and other technical teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
