Job Profile Summary
- Sourcing and rate negotiation for MRO spend category with best supplier and ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Must have complete hands-on knowledge of entire P2P process
- Exposure to Service and subcontracting purchase for MRO
- Researching potential vendors and vetting them to meet purchase needs
- Coordination with Inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs
- Evaluating supplier performance and working with representative to resolve supply related issues
- Tracking orders / shipments and informing stores for incoming material in advance
- Maintaining network of professional contacts to discover new opportunities for supplier sourcing
- Proficient in SAP system (At least 2 Years Experience of S4 HANA)
- Managing supplier performance based of guidelines
- Efficient supplier relationship management - to ensure relationship with supplier to be developed and maintained
- Experience in zero base costing
- Import knowledge

Job Description
- Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial, competitive, and other information about potential business partners (Supplier); new markets, products and services; or other business opportunities so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions.
- Prepare documents and materials (for example, reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners so that the information provided is accurate and appropriate for external distribution.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of principles and concepts.
- Develop and implement sourcing plans align to Category strategies if applicable. Implement and follow-up country sourcing plans. Identify, prepare, propose lead and manage sourcing projects and cases.
- Support the onboarding of suppliers.
- Create, negotiate, and implement contracts. Support and measure use of and compliance with contracts. Contract maintenance.
- Supplier Management and issue resolution.
- Lead and Participate in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities.
- Identify and Establish relationships with key stakeholders and Suppliers.
- Responsible for adherence to internal and external policies, regulations, and laws.
- Responsible for suppliers’ compliance with Sandvik policies and guidelines including EHS, Supplier Code of Conduct etc.

Experience and required competencies:

- Experience in Supplier Development
- Exposure to strategic sourcing will be added advantage
- Analytical and problem-solving Mindset and team player
- Implement continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)

Education:

- Mechanical / Production engineer with 5 - 7 years of Experience.
