Job Description: Sourcing SpecialistPosition Title: Sourcing ExecutiveLocation: HyderabadDepartment: SourcingReports To: Sourcing HeadJob Overview:The Sourcing Executivee is responsible for identifying and securing fabrics and readymade garments that meetthe company's design, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This role involves extensive market research,supplier negotiations, and collaboration with design team to ensure that the fabrics sourced align with thecompany's brand and product goals.Key Responsibilities:

- Supplier Management:o Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the company’s standards for designs, quality,cost, and reliability.o Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and deliveryperformance. Market Research:o Stay updated with industry trends, new fabric technologies, and market dynamics.o Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and supplier meetings to source new materials and keepabreast of industry developments.o Conduct competitive analysis to understand market pricing and availability. Quality Control:o Work closely with the quality assurance team to establish and enforce quality standards forfabrics.o Ensure all sourced fabrics meet the required specifications and compliance standards.o Resolve any quality issues that arise with sourced fabrics. Cost Management:o Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible costswithout compromising quality.o Manage and monitor the fabric budget, ensuring cost efficiency and optimization.o Analyze and report on cost variations and implement strategies to mitigate cost increases. Logistics and Inventory Management:o Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery of fabrics.o Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations.o Oversee the documentation and paperwork associated with fabric sourcing, includingcontracts, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Collaboration and Communication:o Collaborate with design, product development, and production teams to understand fabricneeds and project timelines.o Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sourcing activitiesand potential issues.o Support the development of prototypes and samples by ensuring timely availability ofnecessary fabrics.Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Textiles / Fashion Merchandising or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in fabric sourcing or têxtile procurement, preferablywithin the fashion or apparel industry. Skills:o Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.o Excellent understanding of fabric properties.o Proficient in market analysis and sourcing strategies.o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.o Organizational and multitasking abilities.o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.o Proficiency in using sourcing and inventory management software.o Comfortable working in xls and canva / ppt.Working Conditions:

- Travel may be required to visit suppliers, attend trade shows, and conduct market research. Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple projects

Pay: ₹8,863.92 - ₹31,388.00 per month
