**Job Title: Lab In-charge**

**Experience**: 8 Years and more

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Laboratory Management**:

- Oversee and coordinate all laboratory activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage and lead a team of laboratory staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss projects, safety procedures, and other relevant topics.
- **Equipment and Inventory**:

- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and repairs.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate supplies and timely procurement.
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Monitor and evaluate laboratory tests and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records, including experiment logs and results.
- Prepare and review reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and other stakeholders to support ongoing projects.
- Facilitate effective communication and cooperation between different departments.
- **Budget Management**:

- Assist in developing and managing the laboratory budget.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- **Training and Development**:

- Provide training and development opportunities for laboratory staff to enhance their skills.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional growth.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards applicable to the laboratory.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
