**Job Title**: Mid-Level Fabric Merchandiser
**Experience**: Minimum 5 years as a Fabric Merchant
**Salary Range**: INR 25,000 - 30,000 per month
**Location**: Rajlakshmi compound, Kalher. Bhiwandi.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fabric Sourcing & Procurement**:

- Source fabrics as per the requirements of the design and production teams.
- Negotiate prices, quality, and delivery timelines with fabric suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both domestic and international fabric vendors.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor fabric stock levels and forecast future needs based on production schedules.
- Manage fabric samples, ensuring they meet quality standards and design requirements.
- Ensure accurate tracking of fabric inventory and timely replenishment.
- **Cost Negotiation & Budgeting**:

- Work with vendors to negotiate the best pricing without compromising quality.
- Ensure all fabric procurement is within the set budget.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all fabrics sourced meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks for fabric batches before sending them for production.
- **Coordination with Production Teams**:

- Liaise with production teams to ensure fabric is available as per the production schedule.
- Address any fabric-related issues that may arise during the production process.
- **Vendor & Supplier Management**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with fabric mills and suppliers to secure better deals and ensure consistency in quality.
- Identify new fabric sources to meet evolving production and design needs.
- **Market Research & Trends**:

- Stay updated on market trends, new fabric technologies, and sustainable fabric options.
- Provide input on fabric choices based on market trends and cost considerations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a fabric merchant or in a related fabric merchandising role.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools.
- Attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, or related fields.
- Experience with international fabric sourcing.
- Familiarity with sustainable fabrics and practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
