**Job Description**:
DBA PostgreSQL Administrator

7-10 Yrs

7B Standard

Location-KOLKATA

Np - 15days to Immediate
- F2F required at Client location Resource has to work from office from day one T
- otal Years of Experience 7+
- Relevant years of Experience 5+
- Mandatory Skills DBA PostgreSQL Alternate Skills
- Good to have (Not Mandatory) Life Science Industry experience.
- Detailed Job Description DBA with having minimum 5+ hands-on experience on PostgresSQL database.
- And well-versed in performing the following data activities
- Create the objects in the database, such as triggers, indexes, etc.
- Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance ( query optimization etc.).
- Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early.
- Maintain backups and perform disaster recovery in case a disaster destroys the database.
- Monitor security and prevent any unauthorized access to the database
- Schedule consistent maintenance on the server
- Maintain database schema ? Manage database availability
- Give best practice guidance to the development team
- Resolve any production data issues ? Taplespace management
