**Job Title: Mysql Database Administrator**

**Location: Kolkata (near Green Line - Mahakaran Metro Station)**
**Face to face interviews only**

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of other database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is an added advantage.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA in a production environment.
- Proficiency in MySQL administration (configuration, tuning, replication, upgrades).
- Hands-on experience with Percona Server for MySQL.
- Strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux server administration.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Percona Monitoring and Management, Nagios, Zabbix).
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.
- Solid understanding of database security and user management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage, monitor, and maintain MySQL databases in a high-availability environment.
- Design and implement MySQL replication (master-slave, master-master, GTID-based).
- Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
- Optimise database performance and improve query efficiency.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance standards are met.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems and procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
