Profile: Medical Coder

**Job Type**: Permanent(On-site)

Required experience: Min. 1 year

**Roles and Responsibilities: -**
- Strong knowledge of Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Drugs, Medical Abbreviations, Medical Terminology, Medical Technology, Disease symptoms, Disease Prognosis.
- Good Interpersonal Skill to work as a Team Member and Independently.
- Play a Key role as a Team Member and pitch in when Analytical Skills are Required.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Meet timely deliverables as per Industry Standards Quality and Quantity.
- Should be able to Code Medical Record with ICD 10 CM Guidelines and as per client specifications.
- Proficient in grasping new technical concepts quickly and utilizing the same in a productive manner.
- Maintain 96% Accuracy in Coding.
- Meet Daily as well as Weekly deliverables as applicable.
- Checking E-mails & Teams and correspondence with concern person.
- Entered Inquiries in Software.
- Correspondence with HOD & preparing daily Coding report.
- Responsible for maintaining data of records.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks at the same time Knowledge of US Healthcare Industry.
- Well Versed with ICD 10 CM Coding Guidelines.
- Knowledge of Risk Adjustment Coding, Alternative payment models, Medical Coding guidelines and Coding Techniques (ICD 10 CM, CPT, HCPCS and DRGs.
- Medical Coding Certification, if any (CPC, CRC).
- Knowledge of MS Excel is an added advantage.
- Over and above if any task given as per the requirement is to be carried out.

**Education**: B. Pharm / M. Pharm / Any Pharmacy or Life Science Graduate

**Experience**: 0-3 Years

**Salary**: From ₹25,000.00 per month
