**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and analyze medical records and documents to assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure accurate coding in compliance with federal regulations, payer-specific guidelines, and company policies.
- Collaborate with billing teams to resolve coding-related denials and rejections.
- Provide education and guidance to clients and staff regarding coding updates and compliance standards.
- Stay updated on the latest coding guidelines, payer rules, and industry trends.
- Audit coding accuracy and identify areas for improvement in clinical documentation.

**Qualifications**
- **Certification**: Must hold a valid CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or equivalent certification (e.g., CCS, RHIT, RHIA).
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in specialties like Internal Medicine, Urology, or others relevant to our client base.
- **Knowledge**: Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology. Familiarity with E/M coding is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**: Experience with coding and billing software, such as [your preferred software], and EMR/EHR systems.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to work with precision to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

**Preferred Skills**
- Familiarity with payer policies and claim adjudication processes.
- Experience in coding for specialties such as Urology, Cardiology, or Surgery.
- Knowledge of medical billing processes and revenue cycle management workflows.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
