**MANDATORY SKILLS/EXP REQUIRED**:

- **At least 3-5 years of teaching experience**, ideally with students in Grades 9-11 or similar levels, demonstrating a solid track record of effective teaching.
- **Experience with international curricula**, such as IGCSE, Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), Cambridge International Curriculum, or IB, is highly preferred for a global perspective on education.
- **A teaching certification or qualification**, such as the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL) or its equivalent, would be an asset, reflecting expertise in modern pedagogical approaches.
- **Comfort and proficiency with digital teaching tools, online platforms, and virtual classroom technologies** to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
- **Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills**, with the ability to foster strong connections with students in an online learning environment and facilitate active participation.
- **Fluency in English**, both written and verbal, is essential for clear communication with students, parents, and the broader academic community.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Position Overview: Chemistry Teacher**
Teachers will be based in Bangalore, India, and will deliver online sessions utilizing advanced digital tools and platforms. This role follows a hybrid model with two shifts. In the first shift, teachers will work from the JP Nagar area of the Bangalore office, where they will focus on resource development, curriculum design, and coordination tasks. In the second shift, they will deliver online sessions from home. The number of hours in each shift will vary depending on the number of scheduled online sessions for the day, offering flexibility to adapt to workload requirements.

**Expected timings for online classes**:Between 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm (IST)

**Key responsibilities include**:

- **Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons** to Grades 9-11 students, ensuring alignment with the CXC curriculum while fostering a stimulating learning environment.
- **Incorporate a variety of innovative teaching techniques**, such as games, simulations, case studies, and cutting-edge digital tools, to enhance live sessions and encourage student participation.
- **Develop and refine learning resources**, including detailed lesson plans, interactive presentations, digital content, and assessments, to support diverse learning styles and maximize student engagement.
- **Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) and GDS App** effectively for seamless teaching, communication, and assessment, ensuring a smooth and organized learning experience.
- **Assess student progress regularly** through quizzes, assignments, and exams, offering timely and constructive feedback that guides students toward improved performance and deeper understanding.
- **Collaborate closely with the GDS academic team** to design and deliver both core curriculum content and innovative teaching strategies, ensuring the highest standards of education.
- **Contribute to administrative tasks**, including maintaining accurate student records, preparing detailed reports, and participating in academic coordination meetings to ensure alignment with overall educational goals.
- **Participate in regular parent-teacher meetings**, providing insightful updates on student progress, addressing concerns, and building positive, long-term relationships with families.
- **Mentor and guide Guyanese teachers** in the integration of digital teaching methodologies, sharing best practices and offering support for professional growth.
- **Engage in continuous professional development**, participating in training programs focused on evolving digital tools and teaching strategies to stay at the forefront of education.
- **Maintain open and effective communication** with students, parents, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative, supportive learning environment that promotes success and personal growth.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
