Roles & Responsibilities

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Create world-class, user-centered designs through consideration of market research, business requirements, customer feedback, domain/industry workflow patterns, and usability study findings.
- Co-Own the UI Design Cycle, from Ideation to Delivery.
- Collaborate with UI Designers, UX Designers, Product Owners, and the Engineering team to plan and facilitate the design and delivery pipelines.
- Act as the bridge of communication between your fellow UI Designers and the Company’s Leadership.
- Understand the end-to-end customer journey, the friction points within, and how your proposed design may impact users.
- Create Visual Mock-ups and High-Fidelity Design Prototypes.
- Conduct Design Audits.
- Collaborate with UX Designers and Technical Artists in the team to create and maintain interactive prototypes to test with customers.
- Communicate and plan tests to validate UI decisions by the team.
- Aid in design research and rapid prototyping of interfaces.
- Follow up on the performance of executed designs based on usability test data and plan for cyclic iterations and design improvements.
- Present, lead conversations, and drive issues to closure during design reviews with the Product Owners and Stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Media and Communication or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in designing digital consumer products.
- Proficient in design software and tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience in working with and managing component-based Design Systems.
- Expert level knowledge of using Grids and Typography in Web and Mobile Application UI Designs.
- Knowledge of Design Theory and Colour Theory.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent listening, collaborative, and organizational skills.
- Expert level presentation skills to be able to present your designs within the team and to stakeholders.
- Experience in designing for SaaS Applications both web and mobile.
- Knowledge of 3D, Spatial or VR Design Concepts.
- Experience in conducting Design Audits.
