**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct classification, certification, and statutory surveys onboard vessels.
- Perform machinery and equipment inspections and participate in sea trials.
- Execute Dynamic Positioning (DP) trials in accordance with international standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant maritime regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and submit findings to the concerned authorities.
- Liaise with offshore and onshore teams for planning and execution of inspection activities.
- Participate in pre-deployment discussions and obtain necessary approvals from ONGC Offshore Safety Cell
**Minimum Qualifications & Experience**:
- Certificate of Competency: Master (FG) or Marine Engineer (MEO-Class I - MOT).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in classification, certification, equipment/machinery surveys, trials, etc.
- DP Trials Qualification: Must have completed at least DP Basic Course and be qualified to perform DP trials.
- Prior experience with reputed classification societies or marine inspection agencies will be an advantage.
**Key Skills**:
- Strong technical knowledge of maritime survey protocols and standards.
- Familiarity with offshore safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in challenging offshore environments.
