**Job Title**:Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)**

**Location**: Bangalore

Exp-3-5yrs

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for component and unit testing, using tools like Cypress, C#, or any similar automation frameworks.
- API Automation: Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs to ensure proper integration and performance, using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, RestSharp or similar.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring continuous delivery and early detection of issues.
- Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with software engineers to review code, identify testable units and contribute to a strong testing culture.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure test code quality and provide valuable feedback to enhance overall software quality.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress or any other automation testing tools.
- Proficiency in C# development preferably or any similar programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
- Solid understanding of unit testing and component testing concepts.
- Experience with API automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, RestSharp or other similar frameworks.
- Knowledge on database testing, SQL
- Exposure to React or modern JavaScript frameworks (good to have but not required).
- **Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing or software development.
- Strong experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- **Knowledge & Skills**:

- Ability to work with and contribute to a test automation framework.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the test code.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and other team members.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of React or other modern front-end technologies.
- Familiarity with performance testing or related tools.
- Understanding of the Agile development process and experience in Agile teams.
- Exposure to UI automation testing is an added advantage.
