**Position: Project Coordinator**

**Project Location:Basin Bridge, Kavarapettai, Polur, Tirupattur, Thirukazhukundram**

**Project Duration:3Years**

**Purpose of the role**:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of the BMZ-funded project. The role includes managing the project according to BMZ monitoring requirements and ensuring compliance with international donor standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Project Management**:
Ø Develop a project monitoring plan for several stakeholders and oversee the continuous maintenance and input of data and information

Ø Oversee the daily operations of the project.

Ø Develop and implement project plans and timelines in accordance with donor requirements.

Ø Ensure the project meets its objectives within the agreed time frame and budget as well as report against approved.

Ø Track progress through outputs, outcome, key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones

Ø Local TVET Centers will prepare the monthly and quarterly reports, while the Project Coordinator will be responsible for consolidating the final report.

Ø Supervise project staff and ensure that contracted hours and donor compliance (expenses) are respected.

Ø Coordinate regular meetings and training sessions to ensure staff are updated on BMZ requirements and project progress.

Ø Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, including international donors, partners, and project beneficiaries.

Ø Facilitate regular project reviews and adjustments with key stakeholders.

Ø Ensure that the project complies with donor and other international donor regulations.

Ø Submit time-monitoring records for project staff to Don Bosco Mondo at the end of each month.

**Financial Oversight**:
Ø Work closely with the Finance Officer and Accountant to ensure project expenditures are in line with the approved budget.

Ø Review and approve project expenses, ensuring alignment with donor financial policies.

Ø Manage / communicate closely for submission of quarterly and annual report.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Master degree in Social Work, Project Management, International Development, or M.B.A a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably with experience in impact monitoring of development cooperation projects.
- Proven experience to manage and plan large budgets with different budget lines
- Strong understanding of reporting standards of international donors and outcome harvesting or similar international donor standards.
- Ability to communicate with international teams (German donors) efficiently
- Proven ability to manage project teams and oversee project implementation.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in **MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)** and **project management tools.**

**Key Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Tamil is an advantage.
