Job Title: Sales Officer - Building Materials

Job Summary:
As a Sales Officer in the building material industry, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, acquiring new customers, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Your primary objective will be to promote and sell building materials, such as cement, steel, bricks, tiles, and other construction supplies, to contractors, builders, architects, and construction companies.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment. Utilize various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms to generate leads.

Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers. Build a robust pipeline of potential clients through market research, prospecting, and targeted outreach efforts.

Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide timely support and solutions.

Sales Planning and Forecasting: Develop sales plans, targets, and forecasts in collaboration with the sales manager or team. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly to meet or exceed targets.

Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the management team to support decision-making and business planning.

Administrative Tasks: Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative documents accurately and on time. Maintain updated records of customer interactions, sales activities, and inventory levels.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to after-sales support. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure timely delivery of products.

Qualification:
Graduation
