Safely transport patients to and from the hospital, clinics, and other medical facilities.
- Ensure the patient is comfortable and secure during transit, following medical protocols.
- Assist in loading and unloading patients from the ambulance, especially those in critical conditions.
- Operate the ambulance in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations, while also responding quickly and safely in emergencies, using sirens and lights as necessary.
- Ensure that the medical equipment and supplies in the ambulance are fully stocked and functional, including oxygen tanks, stretchers, and first aid kits.
- Record relevant data such as time of departure, arrival, patient information, and any incidents or issues that occurred during transport.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, driving to the location and assisting with the quick and safe transport of patients to medical facilities.
- Follow safety protocols to protect both patients and emergency staff during transport, including using proper seat restraints and securing the patient on the stretcher.
