Job Title: PLC and SCADA Programmer

Location: Chennai

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC and SCADA Programmer to

join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, testing,

and commissioning PLC and SCADA systems for a variety of industrial and manufacturing

stakeholders to develop reliable and efficient control systems that enhance production

and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Development:

- Design, program, and configure PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems

based on project specifications and requirements up to hot stand by system.
- Develop and customize SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
- HMI Graphics design and development
- Third party interface on various protocol.
- All type of field Instruments configuration and calibration.
- Create and review control system documentation, including schematics, wiring

diagrams, and project specifications.
- Programming and Configuration:

- Program PLCs using languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function

Block Diagram.

- Develop control algorithms and sequences for optimal system performance.
- Testing and Commissioning:

- Conduct testing and debugging of PLC,HMI, VFD and SCADA systems to ensure

they function as intended.
- Oversee the commissioning and startup of control systems, including

troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
- Work with other engineers and technicians to ensure the successful integration of

control systems.
- Optimization and Maintenance:

- Identify opportunities to optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency

and performance.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for PLC, HMI and SCADA systems,

ensuring reliability and uptime.
- Project Management:

- Manage control system projects from concept to completion, including planning,

scheduling, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to achieve

project goals.
- Documentation and Compliance:

- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for PLC, HMI and SCADA

systems, including code, test reports, and manuals.
- Ensure control systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement:

- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in PLC

, HMI and SCADA programming.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve systems and processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering or a related

field.
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in PLC,HMI and SCADA programming and

system design.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text,

etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with industrial automation systems and control panel design.
- Familiarity with safety systems and safety PLCs.
