Music Composer

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Music Composer to join our team. As a Music Composer, you will be responsible for composing and arranging original musical pieces across various genres to enhance and elevate the artistic experience of our projects. Your exceptional musical talent, technical expertise, and passion for storytelling through music will be crucial in creating compelling soundtracks that resonate with our audiences

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Composition and Arrangement**: Create original musical compositions and arrangements that align with the project's themes, emotions, and narrative. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project's vision and requirements.

**2. Scoring for Various Media**: Compose music for a range of media, including but not limited to films, television shows, video games, commercials, and online content. Adapt your compositions to fit the timing and mood of the visual elements.

**3. Genre Versatility**: Demonstrate versatility in composing across various genres, from orchestral and electronic to jazz, rock, pop, and more, to cater to the diverse needs of different projects.

**4. Instrumentation and Production**: Select and utilize appropriate instruments and virtual instruments in your compositions. Work closely with sound engineers and producers during the recording and production process to ensure high-quality results.

**5. Creative Collaboration**:Collaborate effectively with directors, sound designers, and other team members to understand the project's requirements, provide creative input, and integrate music seamlessly into the final product.

**6. Revision and Feedback**: Be open to receiving feedback and revising your compositions accordingly. Strive for continuous improvement and maintain a positive attitude in adapting your work to meet the project's demands.

**7. Adherence to Deadlines**:Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and maintain a steady workflow without compromising the quality of work.

**8. Stay Current with Industry Trends**: Stay updated on current trends in music composition, technology, and software to ensure cutting-edge music production.

**9. Intellectual Property Rights**: Adhere to copyright laws and respect intellectual property rights, ensuring the originality of your compositions.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**1. Musical Proficiency**: Demonstrated expertise in music composition and arrangement, with a deep understanding of music theory, harmony, melody, and rhythm.

**2. Portfolio of Work**: A strong portfolio showcasing original compositions across various genres, ideally with prior experience in scoring for media projects.

**3. Technical Skills**: Proficiency in music production software and digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or others.

**4. Collaborative Spirit**: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, taking feedback constructively and collaborating to achieve the best possible outcome.

**5. Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey musical ideas and concepts.

**6. Passion for Music**: An evident passion for music and storytelling, with a drive to create impactful and emotionally resonant compositions.

**7. Flexibility**: Adaptability to work on projects with varying themes and genres while maintaining your unique creative flair.

**8. Professionalism**:A strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

**Education and Experience**:
A bachelor's or master's degree in music composition, music production, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Proven experience as a Music Composer, with a diverse portfolio of compositions, can be considered as a substitute for formal education.

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
