The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for designing scalable, high-performing, and secure Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are optimized for usability, maintainability, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture-
- Ensure architectural designs follow best practices, platform standards, and scalability principles.- Define integration patterns with external systems using APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.

Stakeholder Collaboration- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and design solution roadmaps.- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership on Salesforce capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Governance & Standards- Establish and enforce coding, configuration, and deployment standards.- Conduct architecture and design reviews to ensure compliance with security, data governance, and performance best practices.

Delivery Leadership- Collaborate with developers, admins, and functional consultants to oversee implementation.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams.- Support release management, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.

Quality & Optimization- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to optimize the Salesforce ecosystem.- Conduct impact analysis for new features, upgrades, or enhancements.- Ensure high levels of system availability, performance, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise-
- Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.- Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, etc.).

Architecture & Design- Proven track record in designing large-scale, complex Salesforce solutions.- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.- Knowledge of data modeling, security architecture, and performance optimization.

Leadership & Communication- Strong ability to engage with executives, business users, and technical teams.- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.- Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams.

Certifications (preferred)- Salesforce Certified Application Architect / System Architect.- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (highly desirable).- Other Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer II, Sales/Service Consultant, etc.).

Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.- 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect or lead role.- Experience in Agile delivery environments and DevOps practices.
