**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and write CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) based on engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining.
- Set up and prove out new programs on machines, ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Modify and optimize existing programs for better cycle time and tool life.
- Work with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM) to generate tool paths.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
- Collaborate with machinists and production engineers to resolve issues during setup and production.
- Maintain documentation for programming, setup sheets, and tooling instructions.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
