Vmc Programmer

Key Responsibilities Create and modify CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers using CAM software e g Mastercam Solid cam NX manual G-code programming Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints GD T and technical specifications Set up and operate VMC machines to perform milling drilling tapping and other machining operations Select appropriate tools fixtures and cutting parameters for efficient machining Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure all machined parts meet quality and dimensional standards Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement corrective actions Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time and increase tool life Maintain detailed records of programs setups and maintenance logs Collaborate with design production and quality teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency Required Qualifications Diploma BE in Mechanical Engineering 5-7 years of experience in CNC VMC programming and machining Proficient in G-code M-code and CAM software Mastercam SolidCAM or NX Strong understanding of 3-axis and 4-axis VMC operations Advanced knowledge of machining various materials steel aluminum SS etc Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD T Familiar with CNC machine controllers like Fanuc Siemens or Mitsubishi Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with high-precision and tolerance machining Exposure to lean manufacturing and 5S practices Knowledge of CNC lathe programming added advantage Experience in tool life monitoring and predictive maintenance Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
