The CDP collaborate with other kitchen staff, assist in menu planning, and potentially train junior cooks. Key Responsibilities:

- **Food Preparation and Cooking**:

- Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation for both veg and non-veg items.
- Overseeing food preparation in the assigned station (e.g., grill, sause, etc.).
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and following hygiene and safety regulations.
- **Menu Planning and Costing**:

- Assisting with menu planning and costing, potentially proposing new dishes and menu ideas.
- **Kitchen Operations**:

- Coordinating with other kitchen staff for smooth operations.
- Allocating duty schedules of junior kitchen staff.
- **Training and Supervision**:

- Training and guiding junior cooks and commis chefs.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:

- Following and enforcing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards.

Additional Responsibilities (depending on the role and kitchen structure):

- **Inventory Management**: Monitoring stock levels and assisting in inventory management.
- **Cost Control**: Controlling production to eliminate waste.
- **Customer Interaction**: Collaborating with service staff to understand customer preferences and feedback.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a CDP or similar role in a continental kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
- Excellent culinary skills and technical proficiency.
- Hotel Management is Preferred or any other certification in culinary department.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to train and supervise junior staff.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 per year
