**Position - Kitchen Technician**

**Job Summary**:
The Kitchen Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of kitchen equipment and systems in order to ensure smooth operations and safety within the restaurant's kitchen. This role requires technical expertise in kitchen machinery, a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Maintenance & Repair**:

- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, refrigerators, dishwashers, fryers, mixers, and other appliances.
- Ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime and disruption to kitchen operations.
- **Preventive Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine checks and perform preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment to avoid breakdowns.
- Create maintenance schedules in coordination with the kitchen team to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure that all kitchen equipment complies with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Report any equipment hazards or safety concerns and address them promptly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines.
- **Inventory & Documentation**:

- Keep an inventory of spare parts and tools needed for equipment repair.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment warranties.
- Assist with ordering replacement parts and supplies as needed.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with the kitchen staff and management to address equipment issues and minimize disruptions to kitchen workflow.
- Provide technical assistance and training to kitchen staff on proper use and care of equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors or service providers when necessary for specialized repairs.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- Diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) in kitchen equipment maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment brands and models.

Pay: Up to ₹50,472.10 per month
