**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Installation and Configuration:
Deploy and set up NAS appliances or servers within the organization’s network.

Configure storage pools, volumes, shares, and access permissions.Integrate NAS devices with existing IT infrastructure.
- Deploy and configure Dell Isilon nodes and OneFS Engineering solutions.

Performance Optimization:
Monitor NAS performance metrics (such as throughput, latency, and IOPS).

Optimize NAS settings to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Data Security and Access Control:
Implement robust security measures to safeguard NAS-stored data.

Manage user access rights and permissions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:
Design and implement backup strategies for NAS data.

Conduct regular testing and validation of data recovery processes.
- Maintain off-site backups for disaster recovery and business continuity.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve NAS-related issues, including connectivity problems, data corruption, and hardware failures.

Work collaboratively with IT teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Capacity Planning and Scalability:
Monitor storage capacity utilization and trends.

Forecast future storage requirements and plan for scalability.
- Expand NAS storage as per business needs.

Vendor Interaction and Upgrades:
Collaborate with NAS vendors (such as Dell EMC, NetApp, or Pure Storage) for support and upgrades.

- Evaluate new NAS solutions and recommend improvements.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation for NAS configurations, changes, and incidents.

Generate reports on system health, performance, and utilization.
- Develop best practice guidelines and standard operating procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Proven hands-on experience with Dell EMC Storage, Dell Isilon, NAS, and SAN Storage.

Strong knowledge of NAS architecture, configuration, and management.Expertise in OneFS Engineering and Isilon storage management.Experience in troubleshooting NAS-related issues and performance tuning.Understanding of data security, access control, and compliance requirements.Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (such as Dell EMC certifications) are a plus.
