- You’re responsible for balancing all payroll day-to day operations including co-ordination with the vital teams involved in ensuring an accurate and timely payroll close._
- Responsibilities_
- _Lead end to end payroll operations and ensure an accurate and timely payroll close._
- _Should have good knowledge of the payroll related taxes for monthly payroll review and tax filings._
- _Ensure timely input to the Banking team for funding towards disbursement of salaries and tax payments._
- _Coordinate payroll activities related to monthly variance analysis, account reconciliation._
- _Responsible for providing necessary information for internal and external audits._
- _Maintain communication and positive relationships with the key partners’ Hiring, C&B, HR and Accounting teams to review cross-functions impacts, and strategies the payroll operations accordingly._
- _Balance and provide mentoring to the payroll team to optimize output._
- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum qualifications:_
- _MBA - Finance_
- _Should possess good interpersonal skills and excellent communication._
- Preferred qualifications_
- _Should have excellent India payroll experience._
- _Ability to work efficiently and independently, balance pressure_
- _Work as a phenomenal teammate & highly motivated with excellent problem solving skills_
- _Should be capable in doing multitasking and should be quick in doing right delegation and decision making._
- _Must be multifaceted, having an eye on details and able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment._
- _Should be good in Microsoft Office. Especially in Excel, Word, Visio and Power-point._
- _Should be innovative to embrace the technology change in the process for smoother operations._
- _Good command on the Oracle ERPs’ like Financial and Payroll systems is preferred._
- _Should have experience in our kind of Payroll Size (40-50 thousand employees) is preferred._
