Hands-on experience in automation using Selenium or any other open-source tool with Java.

Soft skills - eager to learn, positive attitude and someone who will speak up, contribute to the team/participate, able to provide reporting on time.

**Responsibilities & Overview**

Responsible to automation test scripts with Selenium-Java.

Create automation plan, strategy and project initiation documents.

Create and maintain the Automation Test plan to meet project requirements.

Conduct feasibility analysis and suggest automation roadmap.

Create and follow automation best practices.

Ownership of the automation testing work stream for the Release.

Development and execution of automated test scripts to the agreed schedule.

Liaise with the client/BA team to facilitate the gathering of data to feed the automation scripts.

Troubleshoot automation/business process blockers with the BA/Developer Team.

Peer review for automation tasks.

Daily & Weekly reporting to the customer team on the progress of test build & test execution, including defects and any blockers encountered.

Review Automation Test Script builds in line with testing best practices.

Willing to work individually and also in a team as and when required.

Learn new tools, process quickly.

**Requirements**:
**Technical Skills**

8+ years of experience in the end-to-end automation testing for Web, Desktop API, Data, and Mobile.

Java or Selenium certified.

Hands-on experience using the Selenium automation tool for UI validations with Java language.

Experienced in designing and maintaining automation frameworks using BDD, TDD, Modular or Hybrid approach.

Hands-on experience using Selenium Grid and distributed executions.

Hands-on experience in using ALM or any other test management tool.

Hands-on experience in CI/CD integrations and building pipelines.

Hands-on experience with version controlling tools like GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab, etc.

Good understanding of automation strategy, plan and approach.

A good understanding of the development and testing life cycle of the software.

Good decision-making ability.

Good analytical skills.
