Bell Boy

The Bell Boy is responsible for greeting guests, assisting with their luggage, showing them to their rooms, providing information about hotel amenities, and offering general assistance throughout their stay.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Assistance**:

- Greet guests upon arrival at the hotel.
- Assist with luggage handling, including carrying bags to and from rooms.
- Provide guests with directions and information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Assist guests with any special requests or needs during their stay.
- **Room Assistance**:

- Escort guests to their rooms, showing them the layout and amenities.
- Ensure guests' luggage is properly delivered and organized in their rooms.
- Assist with setting up rooms for guest convenience, such as adjusting temperature controls or arranging furniture.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide information about hotel services, including restaurant hours, room service, and recreational facilities.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a friendly, approachable attitude at all times to ensure guests feel welcome.
- **Security and Safety**:

- Ensure that guest luggage and belongings are handled with care and security.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests in the lobby, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours.
- Monitor the lobby and public areas for safety hazards and report any concerns to the appropriate staff.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate with hotel management and other departments (e.g., housekeeping, front desk) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Keep the front desk informed of guest arrivals and departures to facilitate smooth check-in/check-out processes.
- **Maintenance and Cleanliness**:

- Ensure the luggage carts and other equipment are clean and in good working condition.
- Maintain the lobby and entrance areas, keeping them tidy and presentable.
- **Other Duties**:

- Assist in arranging transportation, such as taxis or shuttles, for guests as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Customer Service Skills**: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- **Physical Stamina**: The ability to lift and carry luggage, sometimes up to 50 pounds.
- **Time Management**: Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- **Communication Skills**: Clear and effective verbal communication.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle guest concerns and requests quickly and efficiently.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensuring guests' luggage is handled with care and rooms are prepared appropriately.

**Work Environment**:

- Hotels or resorts, including lobbies, guest rooms, and public areas.
- Interaction with guests, fellow staff members, and hotel management.
- May require working on weekends, evenings, and holidays.

**Education & Experience**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or hotel-related positions is a plus but not always required.
- A friendly, welcoming attitude is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
