**The Role**:
**We're looking for a Global Planning & Analytics Intern to perform advanced analytics on inventory and safety stocks. The key focus will be to analyze; identify key drivers, develop visual reports and make recommendations. A sense of urgency and self motivation to quickly learn and act are critical to success in this role. You will work across a global supply chain with partners in different time zones.**

**You will gain knowledge and experience in planning and analytics for the supply chain of a complex consumer electronics business.**

- ** Review and assess the existing inventory and safety stock process and create a future state process workflow**
- ** Create a processing tool/ model and a visualization dashboard to improve and optimize the inventory tracking process**
- ** Run scenarios to assess the impact on inventory and safety stock based on multiple demand/supply factors**

**Key Qualifications**:
**For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team**:

- ** Creative problem-solving skills and an excellent ability to strategize and model solutions to business problems**
- ** Ability to effortlessly work with planning systems, databases and spreadsheets**
- ** Outstanding analysis capabilities and experience working with tools like excel, google sheets, tableau, coding platforms and rev control tools**
- ** Basic understanding of planning tools and material planning processes including Simulation, Product BOMs, safety stock strategies, inventory management**
- ** Experience working with relational databases, Python, R and SQL**
- ** Ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders**
- ** Passion and interest in supply chain functions**
- ** Excellent communication and facilitation skills**
- ** Demonstrated ability to work with large and complex data sets**

**Education**:Masters or Phd in Operations Research**
