Barista

**Position Overview**: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to deliver exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of coffee beverages with precision, while providing excellent customer service. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the coffee shop environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coffee Preparation and Service:Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure optimal extraction and taste.
- Ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, maintaining efficiency during peak hours.
- Offer recommendations to customers based on their preferences and educate them about different coffee varieties and brewing techniques.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked coffee bar, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are readily available.

**Customer Service**:

- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized service.
- Take customer orders, process payments accurately, and handle cash transactions following cash handling policies.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customers feel comfortable and enjoy their overall experience.

**Shop Operations**:

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed.
- Contribute to the overall maintenance of the coffee shop, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, assisting with tasks as required.
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry trends, new coffee offerings, and brewing techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge and passion for coffee, with an understanding of different coffee beans, roasts, and brewing methods.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide personalized recommendations.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Attention to detail in preparing and presenting coffee beverages, ensuring consistent quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.

**Duty time**:9 hours(rotational shift)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
