Learning Business Partner

Our Talent Development team is searching for a leaner-centered, data-oriented, and growth minded Learning Business Partner (LBP) to join the Operations Risk & Compliance (ORC) organization. This individual contributor role is located in Bangalore, India, supporting the Compliance Operations team as they keep customers, partners, and associates safe and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. As the Learning Business Partner, you will ensure L&D solutions contribute to performance improvement by aligning learning needs with the strategic business goals, recommend what needs to be done and lead L&D initiatives that produce results with measurable outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with the business and operations leaders to understand their goals, priorities and performance metrics
- Provide customers visibility of the learning development process, educating on solutions, and provide guidance on alternatives when learning is not the right solution
- Proactively identify potential learning opportunities by regularly conducting needs analysis
- Validate client’s learning requests by diving deep into the potential performance gap
- Create Project Charters and align with the Project Management Office (PMO)
- Collaborate with Learning Design, Knowledge Management, Training Managers, and Communications to deliver scalable solutions
- Ensure follow-through, implementation of learning solutions, and remove barriers to completion
- Promote adoption of intended knowledge, skills and behaviors across target learners
- Measure and report the impact of implemented learning solutions
- Deliver “train the trainer” or facilitate learning programs as needed
A day in the life
As a trusted advisor and learning and development expert, you are the first point of contact for the services of our global talent development team. You will be the first to receive the client’s request, schedule a “needs validation call” and creates a project charter to kick-off the journey of creating a learning solution addressing the request. Meanwhile, you will oversee the implementation of other learning solutions in your node, track and boost completion and adoption. You will focus on measuring learning impact and reporting insights to your client.

- Knowledge of the foundational learning theories including adult learning and neuroscience of learning
- Experience in learning experience design
- Experience in eLearning tools and technology such as Articulate Storyline or Articulate Rise
- L&D certification such as CPTD
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner
- Strong prioritization and planning skills - with solid attention to detail
