- Perform preventive, routine, and non-routine maintenance on the rig's mechanical systems, including engines, pumps, compressors, and drilling equipment.
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Test and calibrate equipment after repairs.
- **Safety**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Use protective equipment.
- Report accidents, near-miss accidents, non-conformances, and safety hazards.
- **Spare Parts Management**:

- Keep spare parts and consumables stocked at the appropriate level.
- Order and manage inventory.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Document and report maintenance activities, issues, and solutions.
- **Other Duties**:

- May assist in the training of junior mechanics or apprentices.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
