Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the Agile development process and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your primary focus will be on guiding and coaching the development team, product owner, and organization on Agile principles and practices. Must have experience with hands-on SAFe Agile (large enterprise version of Agile Scrum). **Responsibilities**:
**Facilitate Agile Processes**:

- Act as a servant leader and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead the team to complete the workshop phase of the software development cycle.
- Guide and coach the development team and product owner in adopting Agile best practices and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress.
- Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment that encourages creativity, transparency, and continuous improvement.

**Project Management**:

- Work closely with the product owner to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are clear, concise, and actionable.
- Assist in estimating and planning sprints, monitoring sprint progress, and ensuring that sprint goals are met.
- Track and report key project metrics, such as velocity and burndown, to provide transparency and visibility to stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor project risks and dependencies, and proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality.

**Coach and Mentor**:

- Guide and mentor, the development team on Agile practices, empowering them to become self-organized and cross-functional.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by providing feedback, facilitating knowledge sharing, and promoting Agile principles and values.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding of project goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment of priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Facilitate decision-making processes, ensuring that the team and stakeholders are engaged and involved in critical project decisions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices, particularly Scrum.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools and software development practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
