**Job Brief**

GiftAbled is looking to hire a Safety & Quality Supervisor for Balarampur Location in Uttar Pradesh.

The goal is to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety.

**Safety & Quality Supervisor Job Description**
- Responsible for the safety & quality performance of the team at all times. They are to enforce all safe systems of work.
- Will conduct safety & quality meetings & trainings at least once every month and report to the management and updates to be done.
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Create new policies and measures and update according to legislation
- Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues
- Must conduct Safety drills with team members monthly once.
- Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and also maintain proper documents based on them.
- Conduct verification and maintenance of the food safety and quality systems, hazard analysis and sanitation processes, prerequisite programs, manufacturing processes, and campus environment.
- The safety supervisor instructs all employees to inspect their tools daily and report the damaged ones to the appropriate channels for repairs.
- Collaborates with operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessary.
- Reports food safety or food quality issues to an authority who can initiate action Lead, manage, and coordinate all the activities associated with the Food Safety plan.
- Train all workers in an emergency action to be in place
- Check list to be initiated on work done, inspections of work tools and equipment and make the necessary actions towards correcting any seen hazards.
- Ensures that all employees abide by the health and safety rules existing in the workplace.
- Set up safety signs and signages at the designated place and ensure they are visible enough for all workers to see.
- Ensures that all injured personnel receive immediate treatment and attention and documents that report to the management.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**
- B’Sc / Bachelor's Degree in Safety & Quality Engineering or related field with five years of experience in Safety & Quality Assurance.
- Take initiative and make sound unbiased decisions based on safety and quality.
- Foster a teamwork environment and lead with integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of electricity, generator maintenance, building maintenance, office equipment maintenance, assets management, etc.,
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per year
