**About us**: We are **Vishvasys Technologies**, a deep-tech startup currently working on diabetes management.

Our startup is incubated at the Indian Institute of Science. We are looking for an Intern for 2-3 months, for Social Media content creation, marketing and management. It'll be an unpaid/mínimally paid internship.

**Job Title**: Social Media Intern

**Location**: Remote

**Duration**: 2-3 months, Summer Internship

**Compensation**:Unpaid (for academic credit)

**Job Summary**: We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring marketing or communications professional to gain hands-on experience in developing and executing social media strategies. The intern will work closely with our marketing team to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and support various digital marketing initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the creation, curation, and scheduling of engaging content (text, image, video) for various social media platforms, including, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.
- Support the development of social media campaigns and promotions.
- Conduct research on social media trends, best practices, and new features to keep our strategy innovative.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics using relevant tools
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and social media initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Creativity and an ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools is a plus.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
